Outfit of The Day: A Little Bold Never Hurt Nobody…

IMG_7531 IMG_7534 IMG_7542

IMG_7543  Today’s Outfit of the Day was more eclectic as well as loud.

Makeup- A Purple eyeshadow as a base, a pink shadow for the outer crease, and a chocolate brown as a transition color. TONS of mascara; dramatic lashes are a must.

Clothes- I discovered at a boutique called the Little Black Dress. Usually, I would never in a million years wear something so colorful and flashy, but I was feeling bold. Personally, I love this shade of orange. I think it compliments my hair color and ivory skin perfectly.

Hair- Sleek and Straight. I tried something new from my usual mid-part.  I find it amazing how something so small like changing your hair part can transform your whole look.

Audrey’s Sweet Little Finds: The Royal’s Princess Eleanor…

alex-royals

I was impressed with the premiere of E’s new show, The Royals. I would say it is a combination of Gossip Girl and Reign. The newly show has it all- title, power, money, hot guys, and over-the-top fashion.

Specifically, I gravitated towards Princess Eleanor’s character. She is a free-spirited bad girl. Eleanor’s bold personality is depicted through her risky wardrobe and makeup choices. I love how she looks like she just rolled out of bed and threw on a couture dress she found on her bedroom floor.

Beauty-> There is no such thing as “day or night makeup” when it comes to Eleanor’s signature look. No matter the time, she wears an intense smokey eye, loads of mascara, and a severe cat eye.

Fashion-> Eleanor’s style is edgy glam. She always incorporates bling into her outfits- whether it be a sparkly sequined dress, a silver shirt, or dramatic jewelry. She tends to stick with a black and gray color palette, but surprises with a rare pop of color.

Audrey’s Sweet Little Finds: An Outfit of the Day…

Yesterday, my little cousin turned one years old. We celebrated by having a cowboy-themed birthday party. I got into the spirit my channeling my inner southern belle.

Necessities of a Southern Belle:

1) Denim- No matter the style make sure denim is incorporated into your outfit.

2) Plaid- Flannels are a southern belle’s holy grail. Every color and any color is accepted.

3) Booties- A classic cowboy boot or a structured brown riding boot is the correct  footwear for choice.

4) A Bandana- I find a tied bandana the perfect hair accessory. The accessory is so effortlessly chic.

5) Major Lash Envy- Whether falsies or a volumizing mascara is your preference, long lashes are needed to complete the look.

Audrey’s Sweet Little Finds: A 1920s Inspired Fashion Show By Marchesa….

Marchesa’s Fall 2015 collection was inspired by a 1920’s flapper. Despite the diversity of styles and looks, Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman incorporated fringe and glitz into every design.  Also, the hair was styled like the classic short bob that every flapper wore. The makeup was definitely more dramatic with a dark red lip and defined eyes.

My Favorite looks:

This dress was by far the highlight of the whole collection. Everything about it depicts a modern version of the 1920’s flapper. There are so many ideas incorporated into the dress, yet it embodies simplicity and glamour. There is no doubt that stylists fought to have this gorgeous frock for their clients. I am waiting for this beauty to get the perfect red carpet moment.

Audrey’s Sweet Little Finds: A Kate Spade Fall 2015 Collection…

Kate Spade is one of my favorite designers. Her designs are opulent, yet affordable. I am known to always carry around a Kate Spade bag at all times.

Kate’s Fall 2015 Collection was to die for. The array of garments and accessories were impeccable. Her raiments on the market always manage to be effortlessly chic. Her newly featured collection reminds me of a young, free-spirited girl prancing along the streets of Paris. Kate Spade takes “pretty in pink” to the next level.

Her accessories were my favorite part. They were eccentric, fun, and luxurious.

I am obsessed with this strawberry cake clutch. Marie Antoinette would have adored Kate Spade for designing two of her favorite things: fashion and cake.

Audrey’s Sweet Little Finds: “An Aria Montgomery Jacket.. “

IMG_6674Aria Montgomery’s style is eccentric and eclectic. She mixes unique, over-the-top pieces with simplicity. Specifically, she would pair a fitted and one-of -a-kind jacket, like the one shown above, with a plain skirt. When I first caught sight of this black jacket, Aria Montgomery came to mind. Aria pays attention to details, which the jacket has plenty of. The victorian-style buttons, the shoulder zippers, and the cut at the bottom of the garment  depicts originality.
