Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s collection showed a great deal of self-expression. They took a huge risk and put together an incredible show. The inspiration was romance and incorporated quotes from William Shakespeare, paintings by Marc Chagall, and pieces of Dante’s Inferno. I admired the quotes beautifully stitched on the gowns.

Giambattista Valli Spring 2015 Couture is one of my favorite collections. Valli has a vivid eye for detail and depicts aesthetic designs. He accessorized the hair with bow headpieces that dramatized the looks. Meanwhile, the makeup was natural and simple. The show started off with a black and white color scheme, but gradually changed into softer colors, like a pretty in pink. I love the femininity and elegance represented. Sheer, flowers, bows, embroidered silk, frills, fur, and volume was used to create this majestic collection.

Chanel Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture
Everything about this collection is enchanting. I love the mixture of different textures, colors, beading, and embroidery. The silhouettes used highlight a woman’s waist. Lagerfeld incorporates edge into his feminine looks, by the power of accessorizing.
